Haul of Shame - Part 1

As some of you may already know, I've been planning a haul post for quite a while now.  I still have packages that I'm waiting on, but this afternoon I took photos for the ones I already have, and I realised there was quite a lot of them, so I've decided to break it up into 2 parts.  The rest will be up in a week or so barring any major hold up with Royal Mail.  Anyway, if you would like to come and perv at them I'll see you after the jump. : D

I recently joined a couple of polish swap and sale groups on facebook, and I picked up 3 grab bags (lucky dip) of 4 polishes from a couple of wonderful ladies, so I'll show you them first.

L-R: Nails Inc - Heather Grey, w7 - Blue Mirror, Leighton Denny - Tiffany's, and Models Own - Dusty Mauve.

L-R: w7 - Metallic Jupiter (i think), Sally Hansen Gem Crush - Cha-Ching, Color Club - Perfect Mol-ten, OPI - The Living Daylights.

L-R: China Glaze - Electrify, Models Own - Hot Stuff, Nail Pop - Sequin Effect Shade 24, and OPI - DS Bold

I picked up 3 shimmer polishes on facebook too (and I'll have 3 more in part 2!)  L-R: Candace, Vivian and Lucie.  I have actually used Lucie and Candace, i didn't buy them that low : )

I got 2 polishes from new UK indie brand NailsInspire, Touch of Pazaz Holo Top Coat, and Strawberry Jellie.  I found it really hard to choose between the jellie collection, but the blue shimmer in this really gets me so it won in the end!

I also picked up a couple of glitters from another new UK indie called Hairy Legs London, and as you can see I have used both of them already.  Here's a shot of the back of the bottle so you can have a proper look - aren't they stunning?
This is Monsters Boo! and †ain†ed love (which is a limited edition)

Of course I had to get a few of the new Barry M's that are knocking around.  I got Countess, Majesty and Princess from the Royal Glitter Collection, and the Crystal Glaze Top Coat as well.

And, last, but certainly not least, I picked up a few of the other textured glitters that have made their way into Boots.  L-R: Rimmel Space Dust - Moon Walking, Luna Love, and Total Eclipse, and Seventeen Rock Hard Couture - Cameo Crush.  I managed to get a good bit of sun through my window to show the duochrome of Total Eclipse.  Not sure how much it will translate to the nail, but just look at it!
So, the only thing left for me to say now, is what do you want to see first?

  1. I'd love to see if the duo chrome translates to the nail in that last polish :) The China Glaze is really nice looking for this time of year too.

    1. If it does, I imagine it will only be visible in really good lighting, but maybe with a shiny topcoat it would be more obvious. I swatched the CG over Barry M - Copper on a false nail, and it looks amazing! Like super sparkly crunchy leaves : D xx
