My OH Does My Nails Tag!

Hi guys, I have something a little different for you today.  It was recently suggested in the British Nail Bloggers group that a few of us got together to do a naily version of the My OH Does My Make-up tag that has been popular with a lot of beauty bloggers.  I am pleased to say that my fiancé Charlie was up for doing this, so without further ado..............

So, first he picked out the polishes and plates he wanted to use - Revlon Chroma Chameleon - Cobalt, Barry M Silver Foil, and 5 different images from MoYou Biker 05, Pro 07, and Rockstar 01.
He used 3 coats of Cobalt for the base, and 1 coat of Seche Vite to help it dry before stamping.

Then, I did a quick demo to show him how to stamp, and he set about the stamping with my squishy stamper.  The bird on the ring finger didn't transfer very well at first, so I gently removed the stamping, and he applied another coat of colour and topcoat before trying again.  The image transferred much better this time, and I have to say that his placement was superb too!  I don't think I could have done it any better :)  He was really pleased that the guitar stamp included a bass guitar too, since he is currently learning to play the bass!
After top coating the stamping, he cleaned up a bit around the edges with a cotton bud, and I took this quick picture.  He even sat me down afterwards to do proper clean-up with a brush, which was when we managed to get a quick picture of him doing it.  (There was no-one else at home to take it for us at first, and I don't have a tripod to put the camera on!)
Please forgive the yellowy picture, this was taken under our bedroom light as opposed to a daylight bulb, and you can really see the difference!
He did ask me to take over the clean-up in the end, as he was worried that he might ruin all his hard work by taking too much away.  When I first started doing clean up with acetone, that was an issue I had to get past too, so I don't blame him for worrying!
I think he was a little annoyed that the thumb image wasn't completely centred, and that the arrow didn't quite transfer properly, but I think you guys will agree that for a total novice, he did a really cracking job!
I think overall, he was very pleased with it though, and so was I.  I love the images he picked, and I would absolutely rock this mani out and about. He seemed to enjoy doing it too.  In fact, he even has another idea for a mani that he wants to do, so you will most likely see this tag on here again (hopefully with a better picture)  From what I've seen of the other ladies posts, I won't be the only one doing it a second time either!  The guys seem to have really stepped up for this :D

So, what do you guys think than, how did he do?  Don't forget to check out all the other man-mani's in the thumbnails below too :)
