Angel Fish inspired Gradient

Hi guys!  :D Sorry I've been so absent recently, I'm such a rubbish blogger right now, but I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things any day now.  Today I have a mani to show you that was painted a couple of weeks ago, and has been patiently waiting to be posted, poor thing.........

This mani is a double edge vertical gradient, or as I've been referring to it in my head - a gradi-edge :p  It was inspired by a picture of some really gorgeous fish I found on Pinterest. If you click on the little fishies below it will take you to the pin :D
As you can see I tried to get the colours as close as possible, with BYS Pink Panic in the middle, and Barry M Gelly - Huckleberry on the edges.  I also tried to keep the blue just to the very edges.  In hindsight, that would have been easier had I not used the same piece of sponge for all 5 nails, so I'll have to remember that next time.  :D
Apart from my failure to consider my different nail widths when planning my mani, I really loved this.  I normally faff about over a gradient, but I liked this so much I ended up leaving it plain.

So, that's it from me today - I hope you've enjoyed this post.  I'm hoping to have another post in the next day or two - I'm really missing you guys, and I can't wait to get my mojo back.  I have a free weekend this week, so hopefully I can get on top of things very soon.
