A2Z - K is for.......Kitchen Sink

Hiya lovelies, and welcome to this weeks A2Z mani. We're up to K is for "Kitchen Sink".  As always, there are many ways you could interpret this, but the main one is "everything but the kitchen sink" So you would mix lots of different things together, whether it be patterns, colours, techniques etc.  I decided to go with techniques, and I managed to cram 8 into this mani.......

Naturally, this was going to be a skittle mani, so I kept my colour palette simple, and used OPI - Pulled Out a Plum as my base, and used Orly - Luxe and black for my designs.  Since there are a lot of techniques in this mani, I'll actually list the fingers one at a time, instead of talking you through the process as I usually do.
Thumb - Striping tape & gradient.
Index - Stamping decal with MoYou XL - Back to the 80's 04.
Middle - Thin chevron vinyl's.
Ring - Brushstroke mani, freehand chevron, and a stud.
Pinky - Foil Stamping using BP - 21.
I love this colour combination, and it actually kind of matches a nail polish ring I have, so I decided to do an artsy shot of them together.  I suck at taking photos, and it shows, but at least you can see the pretty sparkle in the ring.
The ring was actually made by the lovely Emma from Cambridge Nails.  (I think)  I also think I won it in a giveaway from Nail Art Novice, but I can't be 100% sure, and google isn't helping me, so really sorry if I'm not remembering correctly :/
Isn't that ring pretty!?  So is this OPI, although it does need at least 3 coats as it's a little sheer and shimmery.  Totally worth it though :D

I really love this mani, the colour combination is stunning, and I think I actually managed to retain some type of continuity between nails.  I deliberately picked images/techniques that had straight, harsh lines for that very reason so I'm really pleased that it seems to have worked.  I'm actually still wearing it now, which is very unusual for me. :D

What about you guys though, what do you think of this mani?  Which nail is your favourite?  You probably won't be surprised to learn that mine is the star on the index finger.  Man I love that image! <3 <3

So that's all there is from me today, but as always I recommend you check out what the other A2Z ladies have managed to come up with this week. I think this is one of the harder prompts we've had, so it'll be interesting to see what they all come up with.
