It really helps that I have all you awesome ladies to keep inspiring me too, it seemed like being part of a group challenge really pushed me to be better, and have more confidence in myself too. I
'm sure you'll have some really awesome ideas in the end, you always do :D xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14972480887147156073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6895028312760074849.post-73225309823494819452014-01-04T14:03:16.682+00:002014-01-04T14:03:16.682+00:00I may try and do some of the prompts for the GOT c...I may try and do some of the prompts for the GOT challenge, I do have a few older polishes that never get any love, but don't think I'll be able to do them all :)
I wanted a helmer too, but I literally have no floor space for it - my room is crammed with stuff already, so wall mounted was pretty much my only option!
That sucks you might need to get a new lamp though - I just have a really cheap desk lamp I found on ebay for about £7, but it has served me well so far. Good luck with the hunt for a new set-up, hope it doesn't cost you too much to get sorted :) xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14972480887147156073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6895028312760074849.post-79087159049292642012014-01-04T00:51:34.898+00:002014-01-04T00:51:34.898+00:00I can't wait to see what you come up with this...I can't wait to see what you come up with this year, your goals make it sound like you're on track for an awesome one! And I'm totally jealous that you have ideas for the Nail Art A-Go-Go challenge! I just keep staring at the prompts and I'm not coming up with anything haha!Polish Those Nailshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14072554847690915858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6895028312760074849.post-12691148321226450822014-01-03T21:00:37.393+00:002014-01-03T21:00:37.393+00:00GOT is not about untrieds... it is about using old...GOT is not about untrieds... it is about using older used polishes (and if you have untrieds of a year old you can use those as well) ;). I'm not that far ahead, seeing as I had to work around the holidays :(.
I like the stash, I have actually of those hanging jewelry storage bags hanging on the side of a closet plus a Helmer (no way filled yet) to store mine... and I have to update my stash file... so much to do ;).
I know I need high Kelvins, I currently have halogen that came with my light box/tent, but I broke one :(. Think I might have to get an entire new lamp altogether with ordinary fitting.Brethil Ebontreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03986228440154503148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6895028312760074849.post-52968767410046671312014-01-03T19:47:33.423+00:002014-01-03T19:47:33.423+00:00I really like the idea of the GOT challenge, but m...I really like the idea of the GOT challenge, but my problem is untrieds at the moment - I got loads swatched over the holiday, I am actually about 19 posts ahead of my blogging schedule now, which is unusual for me to say the least! Gives me time to work on the Nail art a go-go challenge in advance though :)
I have actually just updated my stash page, as I put in a 4th wall rack (which is already full), so you can see a lot of the haul there - just waiting on 2 or 3 more parcels lol. I had a bit of a crazy spree after xmas ;)
My daylight bulb came from ebay, it's massive, and looks ridiculous in my little lamp, but it fits and works so I'm okay with it. When you're choosing one, try and find one that is roughly 6500 kelvins - that's the proper white daylight, not the warm white ones I kept seeing, they still have a slightly yellow tone. mine is 6400 kelvins and my photos are looking a lot better colour-wise :) the things I learn on google eh? xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14972480887147156073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6895028312760074849.post-41438998156277943182014-01-03T19:22:50.998+00:002014-01-03T19:22:50.998+00:00I love to see you enter those challenges! You best start early *chuckles*
What's this about buying less polish? Are you ill? *winks* Now I want to see that haul post!
Oh, and where did you get your daylight bulb? I still have to look into getting one myself!Brethil Ebontreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03986228440154503148noreply@blogger.com
