Anyway, I'll stop drooling and get back to the nails shall I? The base for these is Collection - Candy Floss, and for the white chocolate colour, I mixed a little bit of OPI - My Vampire Is Buff with Sinful - Snow me White since I don't seem to own a single cream coloured polish. I just roughly freehanded the circles, since the real sweets were never perfectly round anyway, and added in the sprinkles with my smallest dotting tool (the one I always stab myself on!)
The colours for the sprinkles are: Revlon - Cupid, L'Oreal - Eclair, Barry M - Greenberry, LaFemme - Ice Blue Cream, Rimmel - Ultra Violet and Headline Colours - Poolside Party. I mattified with NYC - Matte me Crazy.
I loved these nails, they were really cute, and I think, a perfect design for my new, shorter length nails. I've had this length a while now, and the more I get used to them, the more I like them. I think it's just a bit of a shock to the system when you take them down a lot shorter, it's like having your hair shortened. I never like it at first, but once I'm used to it I can start to love it :)
What do you guys think of this mani? Do you like snowies? Don't forget to check out all the other delicious mani's being added to the thumbnails below.
Ooooh... okay. We have something similar in the States called Snocaps, but yeah, your nails still look yummy!
ReplyDeleteThought you might - you guys get all the best candy! :D xx
DeleteThese really do look yummy! And I do love the slightly shorter length too. I'm hoping I can square mine off again soon as I'm really not feeling the oval, but its the only way I can get the length back at the mo. Nail problems eh? :) xx
ReplyDeleteThanks hun! I know how you feel, I'm not keen on any shape other than square on my nails either, but you gotta do what you gotta do eh? I'm sure yours will be back to normal soon,.they've definitely been growing recently :D xx
DeleteI love this manicure. Dotticure are so pretty. N please dont say your nails are short. If they are short what I will call mine ^_^
ReplyDeleteOther than gorgeous you mean? :p Thanks hun, I loved this one too! I know they're still long, but nowhere near as long as they were a few weeks ago :D xx
DeleteSarah! These are beyond yummy! Mouth watering goodness at your finger tips! LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I love this length/shape on you! Do you guys get NOPI across the pond? NOPI has an awesome cream polish that just came out this spring called Yoga Then Yogurt which is the perfect cream color I have been looking for! In my book better than My Vampire Is Buff as MVIB is a little too dark for what I was searching for. Don't get NOPI over there? Let me know and I can throw one in your upcoming May care package!
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks hun! <3 We do get NOPI, yay! They're not on the Superdrug website, but I'll have a look in store when I'm there next. Knowing my luck they won't bother releasing them over here! I'll let you know either way though :D Thanks sweetie, you rock! <3 <3
DeleteThese are so pretty and actually look like the sweets! :) xx
ReplyDeleteThanks hun! I did mix up the colours a bit to make it a little more vibrant, but I'm glad I did :D xx
DeleteI almost missed commenting on this mani! I saw the post in the FB group, but I was using the linkup to travel around to everyone's blogs... and yours wasn't there!
ReplyDeleteI have to say how much I adore these nails. The nail art looks EXACTLY like Sno-Caps, which is what I assume is the American version of your White Jazzies / Snowies. The pastels are so sweet and delicate, and I think the matte finish is the perfect touch. And wow, that's a lot of dots!
Woopsie, forgot to add myself to the In-Linkz! :/
ReplyDeleteAwww, thanks hun! For me that pop of Greenberry was just so right for this mani. And yes, it was quite a few dots lol :) xx
These are ridiculously cute :) love them!
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks Vicky! I loved how colourful they were :D xx
