I painted a base of this P.I.A polish that I got from Fragrance Direct ages ago, then with a striping brush, I started to draw the outlines of the pinwheel design in Laval - Ultra Violet. I have seen a stamping plate with this design on it, but alas, I don't own it. I messed up the ring finger a bit in the middle, but once I stamped over it it wasn't really noticeable : )
Then I stamped the lace design from Pueen image plate PUEEN33 with Barry M Silver Foil. Both of the polishes I used for the pinwheel dry down to a semi-matte finish, and I liked the way that looked, so I decided to mattify the whole thing when it was finished. I will include a picture of it in it's glossy state at the bottom though : )
My stamping here was a little dodgy, but I love the overall mani so much that it didn't really bother me. Anyway, dodgy stamping aside, what do you guys think of this? Do you like it, or do you think that it's a little bit too busy? I'd love to hear your thoughts : )

ReplyDeletethanks hun, they were both dirt cheap polishes too! The pinwheels weren't actually too hard to freehand, I want to try them in a few different colour combo's now : ) x
