Hi guys, and welcome to another week of FingerFood's Theme Buffet. Unfortunately, I missed last weeks prompt (galaxies), which is a shame as I love galaxy mani's, but I'm joining back in this week for "Nature". Today's nails were inspired by
this mani from the lovely Cazzy @ SpecialGirl Nails. I've wanted to do a leadlight mani with that stamp since I first saw Cazzy's post, so it was really nice to sit down and actually do them...........
The base for this is Barry M - Huckleberry Gelly, a gorgeous super pale blue, that makes a really good base for leadlight stamping. (as you saw in
yesterday's mani) It's so pale it doesn't affect the colour of the tints at all, but it's still a lot less harsh than pure white. I can see this shade becoming a real staple for me :)
The flowers were stamped from MoYou XL Pro 12 with Mentatlity - Scoundrel, then filled in with my DIY red sheer tint, as well as the purple, pink and teal OPI tints. (Don't Violet Me Down, Be Magentle with Me, and I Can Teal You Like it)
I really liked this mani, it feels very summery, and just made me feel happy :D I hope you guys like it too!
