A2Z: S is for....Silver (with video tutorial!)

Hiya lovelies!  So, today I have my mani for this weeks A2Z, but more about that later because I have exciting news!  I made a YouTube channel!!!!!!!!!  Oh, yes! I really don't like doing regular tutorials, so I've been considering this for a while.  I'm actually filming on my phone for now, but I'm hoping to eventually get a DSLR and start filming like a pro!   If you want to subscribe to my channel you can do so here.  (opens in a new tab)  I'll also pop the video down at the bottom for your viewing pleasure.... (or at least I hope)

52 Week Pick 'n' Mix - 3 shades of blue

Hiya lovelies!  So, I'm feeling quite a lot better now, and while I'm not totally 100% yet, I have the energy to actually do stuff, which is more than I can say for the last week or so.  So, I'm literally just squeezing in my mani for this weeks 52 Week Pick 'n' Mix Challenge, which has been sitting in a folder on my PC, waiting to be posted for ages.  (as you can tell from the fact my nails aren't nubbins here)   The prompts this week were animals (domestic), and/or 3 shades of blue.  I spaced out on ideas for combining both, so just did the 3 shades of blue.......

Barry M Glitterati Collection

*Purchased by me
Hiya lovelies!  Today I have swatches of the whole Barry M Glitterati Collection to share with you.  It's not very often that I want to/can afford to buy an entire collection, but I really loved all 6 of these in other peoples swatches, and since Barry M's have a very affordable price point, I was able to do exactly that.  So, let's get straight into it then shall we?

Dark Metal Lacquer - Mystery Box Review (September)

Hiya lovelies!  Today I have something exciting to show you all.  Last month, Dark Metal Lacquer launched a monthly mystery box, where each month there will be a theme, and the box will include polishes to fit that theme, plus a few little extras (some of which may be beauty items, or even something edible.) The polishes are exclusive to the boxes, and the price will vary from month to month, depending on what the theme is for that month. (For example, a holo themed box would be a little pricier than others, due to the cost of the supplies) The theme for the first month was Glitter, and the box was only £12.  Even if it had been a little pricier I probably would have still bought it, but £12 is a heck of a bargain!

Hiya lovelies!  Hope you're all having a great weekend so far.  Today I have a couple of Dark Metal Lacquer swatches to share with you - Heurt, which was one of Kamila's first creations, and Dreaming, which is from the more recent Autumn collection.......

A-Z of Polish: V is for...........Vortex Remnants

Hiya lovelies!  Sorry today's post is a little bit late.  I've just been so tired recently and haven't really had the energy to blog much.  Luckily, I have some time off work now, so hopefully I'll have time to rest up, and even get ahead on a load of blog posts.
But back to today.  It's Thursday, so of course I have my mani for this weeks A-Z of Polish, and this weeks letter is V.  Amazingly, I actually had a few choices in my stash for this week, but really, there was only one - Femme Fatale - Vortex Remnants............

FingerFood's Theme Buffet - Nature

Hi guys, and welcome to another week of FingerFood's Theme Buffet.  Unfortunately, I missed last weeks prompt (galaxies), which is a shame as I love galaxy mani's, but I'm joining back in this week for "Nature".  Today's nails were inspired by this mani from the lovely Cazzy @ SpecialGirl Nails.  I've wanted to do a  leadlight mani with that stamp since I first saw Cazzy's post, so it was really nice to sit down and actually do them...........

MoYou Nails Review

*Products in this post were sent to me in exchange for a 100% honest review.
Hi guys :) I was recently contacted by Selina from MoYou Nails (not to be confused with the other MoYou, which is a completely different company altogether), and offered the chance to review a few of their items.  Being the stamping junkie I am, how could I possibly say no.............

DIY Sheer Tints Review and Nail Art

Hi guys, you may remember a couple of weeks ago, I reviewed the OPI Sheer Tints (here), and in that post I said I was going to have a go at making my own.  Well, I did, 5 of them in fact, so lets see how they came out.
*Warning, this is a picture and word heavy post.

The Neverending Pile Challenge - Jelly

Hi guys!  After the frosty horror that was Monday's mani, I'm really pleased to be posting today's prompt - Jelly.  My untried jelly is the absolutely stunning Zoya - Aurora, a purple jelly packed full of holographic glitter.  I have actually worn this alone a few times, but couldn't manage to get an accurate photo to save my life, so this is the first time it's actually appeared on the blog........

The Neverending Pile Challenge - A Random Untried.

Hi guys, and welcome to day 3 of the Neverending Pile Challenge.  The prompt for today is a random untried, and since I probably would have cheated and just picked the polish I wanted to wear the most, I got Charlie to pick a polish from my untrieds, and then grab something that he thought would go with it.  The untried he picked was the stunning Zoya - Blaze, and he chose Color Club - Angel Kiss to go with it........

OPI Sheer Tints & a double helping of nail art

Hi guys, sorry today's post is a little late, it took a lot longer to type than I expected it to!  I recently picked up some of the new OPI sheer tint mini's so I could have a go at the leadlight stamping technique, so today I will be sharing the results with you, as well as a bonus brushstroke/splodge mani........

Tri-Polish Tuesdays

Hi guys!  Today is the first Tri-Polish Tuesday of April, so we have a new set of colours for this month - Blue, Pink and Yellow. (And, as always, the allowed extras of black, white, gold, silver and glitter toppers) With pink and yellow in the mix I just had to do another floral stamping mani, like this one from last week.

Nail-Art-A-Go-Go - Day 25 - Watercolour (Glitter Watermarble)

Hi guys, and welcome to Day 25 of the NAGG.  Today's prompt is watercolour, and I decided to have another go at a watermarble.  You can see my first and second attempt here and here.  Today's wasn't entirely successful either, but I am super pleased I found a way to do a glittery one........

Hi guys, I'm back today for another Saturday Spotlight post, and this week we're looking at another Sinful Colors polish.  I'm afraid I only have 1 to show you today as I've been pretty busy working on some stuff that's coming next month, but it is a very gorgeous polish :)

2true Glitterati & NYC stamping

Hi guys, sorry about the brief hiatus, I have the flu at the moment and really didn't feel like posting anything yesterday.  I hope you didn't miss me too much, as my posting may be a little sporadic over the next week or so while I get better.  Today, I have some nail art I did a few weeks back with 2 very cheap polishes.

Sunday Spotlight: Sinful Colors - Verbena & Nail Junkie

Hi guys, sorry it's a little late, but I'm back today with another edition of Sunday Spotlight.  Today's brand is one I have only tried very recently, Sinful Colors.  They are available from Boots at a mere £1.99 for 15ml.  I bought mine in-store, but they are also available online here, with a much better selection than my local Boots.  All they have is a cardboard stand at the end of the others, and that was half gone......it was Boxing Day though :)
* This will be a picture heavy post - yaaaaaaay!
