NAGG Round-up (finally!)

Hiya guys :D  Today's post will be a round up of all the mani's from the Nail-Art-A-Go-Go Challenge that took place during February.  I was hoping to get this post up a little sooner than now, but I'm easily distracted, so have only just gotten around to it.  It has been less than a week though, so I don't think I'm doing too bad..........

Nail-Art-A-Go-Go - Day 28 - Art Nouveau

Hi guys, and welcome to the final day of the NAGG challenge.  The prompt for today is Art Nouveau - something I know literally nothing about!  According to Wikipedia, it is "an international philosophy and style of art, architecture and applied art—especially the decorative arts—that was most popular during 1890–1910.  A reaction to academic art of the 19th century, it was inspired by natural forms and structures, not only in flowers and plants, but also in curved lines. Architects tried to harmonize with the natural environment."

Nail-Art-A-Go-Go - Day 27 - Pointillism (Dots)

Hi guys, and welcome to the penultimate day of the NAGG challenge.  Today's prompt is Pointillism, which is where you use little dots of colour to make up an image.  Unfortunately, I didn't know that at the time, so I interpreted it in it's most simple form, and did a polka dot mani.  Considering that I haven't studied Art since I was 13, I probably should have googled that, but I'm almost glad I didn't, as I really like today's mani.........

Hi guys, and welcome to Day 26 of the NAGG.  Today's prompt is Graffiti, and it was a prompt I was very nervous about, but also really looking forward to.  I wasn't sure if I'd be able to come up with anything good for this prompt, but I couldn't wait to try anyway :)

Nail-Art-A-Go-Go - Day 25 - Watercolour (Glitter Watermarble)

 Hi guys, and welcome to Day 25 of the NAGG.  Today's prompt is watercolour, and I decided to have another go at a watermarble.  You can see my first and second attempt here and here.  Today's wasn't entirely successful either, but I am super pleased I found a way to do a glittery one........

Nail-Art-A-Go-Go - Day 24 - Abstract

 Hi guys, and welcome to day 24 of the NAGG challenge.  The prompt for today is Abstract, which is actually a prompt I'm quite fond of.  The last mani I put together for an abstract prompt is still one of my most viewed posts today :)  Today I decided to go with a splatter mani, which was a lot of fun.  I tried this once before when I first got into nail art, but I think my polishes were too thick, as all I managed to do was make myself dizzy........

Nail-Art-A-Go-Go - Day 23 - Oils (Texture)

Hi guys, hope your weekend has been fab so far.  Today is Day 23 of the NAGG challenge, and the prompt is: Oils (Textures/Brushstrokes).  Since I had Zoya - Carter sitting in my untrieds, I had to pick texture :)

Hi guys, sorry today's post is a bit late, time has just got away from me today :)  Anyway, we are entering the last week of the challenge, and this is the hardest week of prompts - art movements.  The prompt for today is Surrealism, and instead of trying to recreate some painting, or something else I would probably suck at, I decided to go in a totally different direction..............

Hi guys, second post of the day from me - today is Day 16 of the NAGG challenge, and the prompt for today is Doodles.  Luckily, I had been waiting to use this adorable little doodles image from MoYou Princess 11 for a while now, so this was prompt was perfect.

 Hi guys and welcome to Day 15 of the NAGG challenge.  The prompt for today is Round & Square, which seemed like the perfect prompt to bust out the circle glitters.  Unfortunately, this seems to be one of those manis that looks better in real life than in a macro photo.....

 Hi guys, and welcome to Day 14 of the NAGG.  I can't believe we're at the halfway point already!  Today's prompt is sweets, and I decided to attempt a mani based on Blueberry Sour Candy Belts.  It;s not exactly perfect, but I think it came out OK.

 Hi guys, and welcome to day 13 of the NAGG challenge.  The prompt for today is hearts - very fitting since it's Valentine's Day tomorrow.  Luckily, for those of you who aren't too keen on the holiday, I won't be posting any other Valentine's mani's after today, although I do have 2 more polishes from Indy's Indies Valentine's collections to show you tomorrow.
