Hello, again!

Hey, guys!  So, I'm sorry about the super long hiatus - I actually can't remember the last time I blogged.  Long story short, I enrolled in some business training in the summer and really started to step up my game with Sarah's Sparkles.  I've been working some seriously ungodly hours and just haven't been able to find the time to paint my nails, never mind blog about it.  Boo, me!  I kept meaning to pop over here, and let you guys know where I was, but I suck, and never quite managed it.  I'm really sorry. :'( I hope nobody worried about me too much.

Unfortunately, due to some serious neglect on my part, my own nails have fallen into a state of disrepair.  Seriously you guys, they're gross - you do not want to see them!!  But, I have missed blogging so, so much in these last few months, I really want to find a way to squeeze both things in.  So, for now, I'm going to be posting my mani's exclusively on press on's.  This way, I only need to find the extra time to write the post.  The nails and the photos need to be done for the shop anyway, and what's a little half an hour here and there to type up a post, eh!?  Now, I know that many of you aren't too keen on press on nails, so of course I'd understand if I lost a few of you, but I'm hoping most of you will stick around.  I missed you guys!!!

52Week Pick 'n' Mix Challenge - Pink & Orange, and Mosaic/Stained Glass (with video tutorial)

Hiya lovelies!  So today I'm jumping back in to the 52 Week Pick 'n' Mix Challenge.  I'm not going to try and catch up or anything, but I've really missed this challenge, so here we are.   As luck would have it, I switched my daylight bulb on to take some photo's this week, and it decided it was a great time to die.  So, huge apologies for the phone pictures with flash you see here today.  It did a better job of the neon colours than my point and shoot usually does though, so that's something. I also still managed to get a video tutorial made for this, which is awesome!

R is for...... Redo/Reboot/Recycle/Recreate

Hiya lovelies, and welcome to this weeks A2Z.  We're up to R today, and the prompt is "Redo/Reboot/Recycle/Recreate". I wasn't sure what to do for this at first, but then I thought it might be pretty cool to do a pair of matching mani's, where one is essentially a reboot of the other, so here we are :)

52 Week Pick 'n' Mix Challenge

Hiya lovelies!  I'm back today with my mani for this weeks Pick 'n' Mix Challenge, and this week the prompts were "brown", and "book".  I decided to just go with the brown half of the prompt.  I only own a couple of browns, so didn't have many polishes to choose from, but I went with OPI - OPI Scores a Goal!, a lovely raisin cream with a stunning formula...........

Crumpet's Nail Tarts 52 Week Pick 'n' Mix Challenge

Hiya lovelies!  An exciting post today, as this is my first mani in a brand new challenge! It's the 52 Week Pick 'n' Mix Challenge, being run through the Crumpet's Nail Tarts facebook page.  (You can find us here if you'd like to join in).  As the name would suggest, the challenge runs for a total of 52 whole weeks.  Each week, there are 2 prompts; one is a colour prompt, and the other is a pattern, or style of nail art.  Each week, you can pick to do a separate mani for each prompt, one mani that combines both, just one of the prompts, or even sit it out altogether that week if you need to.  Debbie was trying really hard to find a way of allowing more freedom in this nail art challenge, while still keeping some form of structure, and boy oh boy did she find it.  I love the way this is being run, it's such a good idea!

Born Pretty Store Review - Part 1

*One product in this post was provided in exchange for a 100% honest review
Hiya lovelies!  I was recently contacted by Born Pretty Store and offered the chance to review a couple of items from their online store.  If you're not already familiar with BPS, they are a website selling all sorts of nail art stuff, jewellery, clothing, some pretty cool phone cases and tonnes more, as well as their own nail polish lines.  They offered me a choice of 2 items from their store, so I picked a stamping plate, and some neon water decals.  Today I'm showing you the stamping plate.....

FingerFood's Theme Buffet - Skittles

Hi lovelies, and welcome to another week of FingerFood's Theme Buffet.  The prompt this week is Skittles, and usually when I think of a skittle mani, my brain thinks, same colour scheme, with different designs.  This week I wanted to be a little different though, so I decided to do the same design in different colours......

Colour me Crazy: Red

Hiya lovelies!  Today I'm starting a new weekly challenge being run by the British Nail Bloggers group.  It's fairly similar to FingerFood's Theme Buffet, in that it's just one prompt per week, and you can post whichever day of the week you prefer..........

A-Z of Polish - K is for Key Lime and Kiwi Bikini

Hi guys, and welcome to another week of the A-Z of Polish series.  Can you believe we're on the 11th week already, 12th if you count the week we had off!  I think when we get to 14 I will do a little 1st half round up post :D  Back to this week though, our letter this week is K, and this is another letter I didn't have much for.  I only own five polishes starting with the letter K, but I managed to use two of them in this mani.....

FingerFood's Theme Buffet - Neon

Hi guys!  I'm back again with my mani for this weeks theme buffet prompt.  I normally like to post these on the Sunday, but luckily you can post any day of the week for this challenge, so if you're behind, or it clashes with your schedule, it's not a problem.  :D  Anyway, this weeks prompt is neon, so you won't be surprised that this is the week I'm jumping back in.......

Angel Fish inspired Gradient

Hi guys!  :D Sorry I've been so absent recently, I'm such a rubbish blogger right now, but I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things any day now.  Today I have a mani to show you that was painted a couple of weeks ago, and has been patiently waiting to be posted, poor thing.........

The Neverending Pile Challenge - Untried Stamping Plate (+ catch up mani)

Hi guys, today I have 2 prompts from the Neverending Pile Challenge to share with you - today's untried stamping plate prompt, and the gradient prompt from last Wednesday.  It was supposed to be 3 mani's, but I seem to have lost the folder for the third one :(  So, lets start with today's mani first.  My untried stamping plate was PUEEN53 from the buffet set.  The whole plate is newspaper headlines, so a newspaper mani it was..................

Tri-Polish Tuesdays (well, almost!)

Hi guys! Today is the last Tuesday of March, so next week we will have a new set of colours for the Tri-Polish Challenge - pink, yellow and blue.  Not sure what I'm going to do with those yet, but I'm looking forward to finding out!  I will also be starting The Never-Ending Pile Challenge in April though, so I may be dropping in and out as I can.
*I kind of forgot that we're not allowed extra colours other than black, white, silver and gold, and used pink. (like an idiot!) :/  Sorry!

Dance Legend - Sahara Top Coat review

Hi guys!  Today I have a swatch and review of the Dance Legend Sahara Top Coat.  This is a topcoat that you can apply over any base colour to turn it in to a glittery texture.  I bought my bottle from Rainbow Connection, but you can order directly from their site, as well as many other stockists that are listed on the website.  They are a Russian brand though, so if you order directly, shipping will be a long time........

Tri-Polish Tuesdays

Hi guys, and welcome to my second Tri-Polish Tuesday.  In case you didn't see last weeks post, the colours for this month are purple, blue and green.  I used all 3 colours in last weeks mani, although I think today's mani also qualifies as all 3, since I've made some purple in the middle of my gradient :)

Tri-Polish Tuesdays

Hi guys!  Today I am jumping into a challenge that I have been considering for a while, the Tri-Polish Challenge that is run through the facebook group, Crumpet's Nail Tarts.  The rules of this challenge are fairly simple: each month there are 3 colours picked, and you have to come up with mani's using those colours.  At least 1 mani must contain all 3 colours, and the others must use at least 2 of the 3.  You don't have to stick to the same polishes all month, as long as they are the chosen colours for that month..  You can also use black, white, silver, gold, and glitter toppers if you wish.
