Hiya lovelies! Today I have my mani for this weeks 52 Week Pick 'n' Mix Challenge. The prompts for this week are 70's, and Grey + Colour. I decided to just pick the 70's part, so I could do a red and black punk mani. I know that some people associate punk more with the 80's than the 70's, but I like to think my mani is a celebration of the birth of punk, and therefore still very much in the 70's :p

A-Z of Polish: Z is for........Zoya!
Hiya lovelies! So, can you believe we're on the very last letter of the alphabet now!? I can't believe I've been doing this challenge for practically half a year, it really doesn't feel like it's been that long. If, like me, you're sad that this challenge is over, don't fret, as we will be starting A2Z next week. Yup, we're doing the whole alphabet AGAIN! :D It's going to be a little different this time though - if the last one was the A-Z of Polish, then this one is more like the A-Z of mani's. Each letter of the alphabet is assigned a word, and our job will be to interpret that word in any way we see fit. We also have a few new ladies joining us, so expect a post from me to introduce the new A2Z, and everyone involved in it :D

The Nail Arcade Review (part 1)
* 1 product in this post was provided in exchange for a 100% honest review
Hiya lovelies! Recently, I was contacted by the lovely Rachel from The Nail Arcade (formerly Winterberry Nail Art) to see if I would like to review a couple of products for her. I really loved the bits I got from her last time (see here, here, here, and here) so naturally I said yes.....Thursday, 18 September 2014
A-Z of Polish: V is for...........Vortex Remnants
But back to today. It's Thursday, so of course I have my mani for this weeks A-Z of Polish, and this weeks letter is V. Amazingly, I actually had a few choices in my stash for this week, but really, there was only one - Femme Fatale - Vortex Remnants............

Tara's Talons - Too Girlie Girlie (designed by me!)
Hi guys, today I have a Tara's Talons polish to show you that I'm very excited about. Recently, Tara ran a competition to design a polish for her Fan Collection, and receive a bottle of that polish, and I was lucky enough to have my idea chosen as one of the winners. How awesome is that!?

Striped Stars with Kleancolor Metallics & MoYou.
Hi guys! After yesterdays massive post, I didn't really have time to put together a spotlight post for this weekend, so today I just have a mani I wore a couple of weeks ago to show you. To be honest, I have quite a lot of stuff gathering dust in the vault at the moment, so I may spend most of the week clearing that out. I'm hoping to get back to some form of schedule in the next week or 2 though, as I'm participating in another challenge in March. This one is a little more spread out though, only 3 prompts per week. Not sure I could handle another month of daily nail art just yet :)

Indy's Indies - Starry Night
*Some products in this post were discounted in exchange for review.
Hi guys, sorry it's a bit of a late post, I've been pretty busy today. On the plus side, the polish I have to show you is the very appropriate Starry Night from Indy's Indies Christmas collection. I know Christmas is well and truly over, but this is one of those polishes that you can wear at any time of year, and there are still a couple of full size and mini bottles of this in the shop :)

Indy's Indies - What's your favourite colour?
Hi guys, today I have another stunning polish from Indy's Indies to show you, this is What's Your Favourite Colour? This was a Limited Edition and is currently sold out on etsy, but Danielle has hinted that she may add a couple more to the shop over the weekend, so make sure you stalk her etsy and/or facebook if you would like to snag one for yourself.

#33DC - Day 27 - a mani with 3 patterns
Hi guys, I'm back today with Day 27 of the #33DC, and the prompt for today is a mani with 3 patterns. I think this was a hard prompt to be honest. You want some continuity between each nail, but you don't want it to look too busy at the same time. I actually did this mani in totally different colours at first, but I wasn't very keen on it, so I decided to try again last night with a simpler colour scheme. I'm glad I did, as I much prefer this version, but I do have photos of both in this post : )

Pink Stars
Hey all, sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I am working on things that are not quite finished, so you'll have some good stuff coming your way soon. (including Fragrance Direct Friday : D) This is a quick stamping mani I did a couple of days ago. The pink is Kleancolor - Metallic Pink (smaller amounts available from same place, this is just best value), which is shown at 1 coat here. It's a really great polish, can be used for stamping as well, but they do smell really bad. Although, I own a few of them, and I don't find it as bad now as when I first got them. They're so pretty I can't help but use them a lot, and I suppose I've got used to it. Just be prepared, as it's very different to any polish I've smelt before, it's quite weird!
