Hi guys! After yesterdays massive post, I didn't really have time to put together a spotlight post for this weekend, so today I just have a mani I wore a couple of weeks ago to show you. To be honest, I have quite a lot of stuff gathering dust in the vault at the moment, so I may spend most of the week clearing that out. I'm hoping to get back to some form of schedule in the next week or 2 though, as I'm participating in another challenge in March. This one is a little more spread out though, only 3 prompts per week. Not sure I could handle another month of daily nail art just yet :)
Anyway, back to today's post. This was the first mani I wore after I had completed all the NAGG prompts, and I really loved how it turned out. The base is Kleancolor Metallic Pink & Aqua, sponged in random places. I went over this a couple of times in slightly different spots to get the colours to blend a bit more, but still keeping pink as the more dominant colour. The shimmery nature of these metallics made for a really pretty close-up too, I love where you can see the pink and aqua specks all nestled in amongst each other, making little purple babies :)
The stamping is Konad Black and MoYou Back to the 80's 04. I really adore this plate, the top row are all images I can see myself using time and time again. I probably won't for a while though, as I may or may not have ordered the Pueen Stamping Buffet set yesterday. (Hint: I totally did :p)
I really enjoyed wearing this mani, and even kept it on for a couple of days. Normally I change it daily, so that's double the wear time of most!
What do you guys think?
I love this! And I want the Pueen stamping buffet set as well... *tries not to be jealous*
ReplyDeleteThanks hun :) I have purged a lot of my plates recently, but these should be big enough designs for me to get a lot of use out of them! Gonna be so tough to pick one to use first though xx
DeleteOooo...me likey!
ReplyDeleteI've been playing with making a neon holo, again...
:D Thanks hun!
DeleteWe're doing it again though! I made my first 2 polishes a couple of days ago. My first proper go at frankening, and I think it actually turned out pretty well. I'll do a blog post when I've swatched the 2nd one :D xx
These are SO fabulous! I'm a big fan of pink and black normally, but with that star pattern - LOVE!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks hun! Black & Pink is one of my absolute fave colour combos, especially for my hair colour :) I think this MoYou plate has to be one of my faves too, even if it's just for this pattern xx
