Born Pretty Store Review - Part 2

*All the decals in this post were provided in exchange for a 100% honest review.

Hiya lovelies!  Today I have the second part to my Born Pretty Store review.  In part 1 (here), I showed you a stamping plate, and today I'm showing you the second nail art product I chose - some neon water decals (here).  I've only ever tried water decals once, and it didn't go very well, so I was really interested to see if I got on better with these ones.......

Colour me Crazy - Yellow

Hiya lovelies! I hope you're all having a great weekend.  Today I'm just squeezing in this weeks prompt for the Colour me Crazy challenge, being run through the British Nail Bloggers group.  Last weeks prompt was a toughie - orange - but now here comes the really hard one: Yellow.  From what I've seen, yellow is one of the most hated polish colours out there.  I don't exactly hate it, but I don't use it very often......

A-Z of Polish - D is for..... Denim and Dimension X

Hi guys, and welcome to another day of the A-Z of Polish weekly series.  Today's letter is 'D' and I didn't have anywhere near as much choice as I did for C, so today's mani is quite a simple one.  My 2 'D' polishes are Barry M - Denim, and Pretty Serious - Dimension X......

The Neverending Pile Challenge - Most Expensive

Hi guys, and welcome to another week of the neverending pile challenge.  Today's prompt is most expensive, so I picked the 2 priciest untrieds in my stash - A-England - Ophelia (£9) and MaxFactor - Fantasy Fire (£5).  I know £5 is not exactly expensive, but it is quite pricey for such a tiny bottle.  I don't even know how much is in it, I couldn't find it written on the bottle anywhere, but if I had to guess, I'd say no more than 6 or 7ml........

The Neverending Pile Challenge - Drugstore

Hi guys, and welcome to another day of The Neverending Pile Challenge.  The prompt for today is drugstore, and my untried is NYC - Greenwich Village, a gorgeous deep pink cream that almost leans towards a coral pink.........

Winterberry Nail Art Part 2 & FingerFoods Theme Buffet - Week 1 - Animal Print

Hi guys, today I have somewhat of a double duty post for you, hence the ridiculously long title.  I recently decided to join in FingerFood's Theme Buffet, which is a relaxed weekly challenge that takes place on Sunday's, hosted by the lovely Sam from FingerFood.  The first prompt is animal print, which seemed like a perfect time to review another item from Winterberry Nail Art.
p.s. there's a discount code at the bottom :)

#33DC - Day 27 - a mani with 3 patterns

Hi guys, I'm back today with Day 27 of the #33DC, and the prompt for today is a mani with 3 patterns.  I think this was a hard prompt to be honest.  You want some continuity between each nail, but you don't want it to look too busy at the same time.  I actually did this mani in totally different colours at first, but I wasn't very keen on it, so I decided to try again last night with a simpler colour scheme.   I'm glad I did, as I much prefer this version, but I do have photos of both in this post : )

#33DC - Day 20 - A pattern from your wardrobe

Hi guys, I'm back today with Day 20 of the #33DC, and the prompt for today is a pattern from your wardrobe.  This was one of the mani's I have had planned from the moment I read the prompt.  I had recently bought some awesome leopard print leggings, but they were a bit too tight for me so I haven't actually worn them yet......at least I get to rock them on my fingers for now : D

Nails Inspire - Nail Art with Strawberry Jellie

Hello again gorgeous people!  I'm back with my third and final post of the day, and this is the nail art I did over Nails Inspire - Strawberry Jellie.  I was going to do a jelly sandwich with this, but after trying it over the thumb nail, the blue shimmer took over the design completely.  Luckily, I took some pictures before hand, as I thought it may turn out that way.  (Not that I'm complaining, that's why I love it!)

#33DC - Day 7 - Art featuring your oldest untried.

Hi lovely people.  Today is Day 7 of the #33DC and the prompt for today is art with your oldest untried.  As crappy luck would have it, my oldest untried was a sheer wash of nothing for french mani's.  It's by Revlon and it's called barely peach.  I have never done a french mani on myself, I used to get pink and white acrylics at the salon for years, so have no interest in having them again.  On a sidenote, I was paying £10 more a set for "UV Gel" nails, but was being ripped off by the salon who were still using acrylic!  They just grabbed a different pot, and told me it was gel.  The nerve of some people eh!   Anyway, I digress.................................

I ♥ Leapord

Hi everyone.  Hope your week has been good so far.  I'm finally posting something I freehanded! I have become acutely aware over the last 2 weeks that, mostly due to time constraints, I have been doing all stamping manis.  So, when I had some time over the weekend, I pushed myself to do something freehand.  I'm so glad that I did, as I really loved these nails once I had finished them.

Simple Leapord Print

*All items in this post were purchased by me
This is a mani I wore a few weeks ago, just some simple leapord print with a couple of accent nails with the colours reversed.  I dont have a bottle shot for this one, but the polishes used were Nail Envy Matte, Kleancolor Metallic Fuchsia, Rimmel 60 seconds Black Out, Barry M Silver Foil Effects, and Seche Vite.
