Black Cat Lacquer - Heart & Soul

Hi guys!  Today I have a really beautiful polish to show you from Black Cat Lacquer.  This is Heart & Soul, a beautiful fuchsia jelly filled with magenta circle and hex glitter, purple/blue iridescent flakies, and holo glitters.......

In these swatches I'm wearing 3 coats alone on my ring and middle finger, and one coat over black on the others.  The formula on this was incredible, it applied smoothly and evenly, and I only fished for one larger circle glitter!  I kid you not :D

This is my first experience with Black Cat Lacquer and I am SO impressed.  I already had a few more on my wishlist, and after trying this I cannot wait to go get my hands on them.  (or them on my hands, as is more accurate)

I'm really glad I decided to try it as a topper as well as a stand-alone polish, as I think you'll agree it looks amazing either way!  I think the glitters stand out a tiny bit more on the black, but I adore the depth you get from building it up too.

 It was quite hard to capture just how prominent the iridescent flakes are in this polish, but this next picture, which is slightly out of focus is a bit closer.....

They're practically glowing!  Beautiful! <3

 I decided to stamp over this, but after not liking the image I chose originally, and carefully removing the stamping, it left me with silver shimmer smears all over the fuchsia nails. :(  I couldn't see them in real life due to the insane sparkle on this polish, so I didn't notice them until it was too late.

It still looked pretty awesome in real life, but in photo's it's a bit of a hot mess!  Still, what kind of blogger would I be if I didn't show you my screw ups as well as my triumphs!?  

Smudginess aside, I still think this looked better before the stamping.  Maybe if the image was a bit more open I'd like it more, but recently I've been feeling really bored with my stamping plates so I think a bit of retail therapy will be needed there soon.....
