The song in question is Skin and Atmosphere by 36 Crazyfists, and it's one of my favourite Crazyfists songs. Unfortunately, there isn't an official video for this song on YouTube, so I'm going to include Bloodwork instead, which is also awesome. If you want to hear Skin & Atmosphere you'll have to find it on YouTube. (copyright laws and all that)
So, the galaxies were made with Wet'n'Wild Black Creme, China Glaze - So Blue Without You, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Emerald Express, Kleancolor Metallic Green & Metallic Sapphire. I used Moyra 101 for the glitter, and then (badly) freehanded the stars and dots with Sinful - Snow me White. I also used Barry M Silver Foil to thinly outline the half moons, as they looked a little bit weird without them to me.
This mani didn't quite turn out perfect, but other than the stars I'm super happy with them. This was the first time I've tried galaxies with such a narrow colour scheme, but I think they turned out really well. It was so sparkly in real life, but I had trouble getting all the holo to show up on camera.
And just in case anyone hasn't had their Ready-Brek today, Skin = Naked half-moons. Atmosphere = Galaxies. (well, not exactly, but you get the idea) :p
That's all from me today. I'll be back tomorrow with this weeks A-Z of Polish, but in the meantime you can have a little nose at all the other music inspired mani's by visiting the thumbnails below.
These are SO beautiful. I think a part of me died when I saw them <3
