FingerFood's Theme Buffet - Gothic

Hi guys, today I have my Gothic mani for FingerFood's Theme Buffet - hooray!  I know some of the other ladies may feel a little out of their comfort zone on this prompt, but I'm really interested to see what they all come up with for this.  Some of my best mani's have happened because I've had to try something a bit different for a prompt :)

For my Goth mani, I decided to do a simple black and silver skittle mani.  I've had these Andrea Fulerton cross stickers from Superdrug for about 2 years now, and haven't used a single one. I really like them, but it just feels like cheating using a sticker, so I figured doing a skittle would ease my guilt a little bit. :)
The base for this is Nails Inc - New York Noir, and the stamping on the index finger and thumb was done with Barry M - Silver Foil.  The ribcage is from Biker 10, and the flames on the thumb are from Rockstar 01.
The star studs are from a bunch I got on ebay here, and the middle finger is a bit of loose silver chain , also from ebay here, sealed in with a layer of Gelous, and a layer of HK Girl top coat.  I've never worked with loose chain before, I bought it especially for this mani, and whilst it's not the easiest thing to work with, I didn't have to re-do the nail.  In my book, I'm counting that as a success :)
I know this is a really simple mani, but I wasn't designing this so I could show off my skills, I just wanted something black, studded, chained and awesome, which I personally feel I achieved. I loved wearing this mani, and I could wear it time and time again!  Sometimes simple really is the best way to go......
Don't forget to have a little mosey on down to the thumbnails below to check out what everyone else has done for today's prompt :)

  2. Well, I wouldn't say I'm exactly dying of shock! :p I feel like such a cheat using a sticker on my pinky, but at the same time, it's so cool! For some reason, it always reminds me of the cover to Black Sabbath - The Rules to Hell, so I love it even more! xxx

  4. My favorite bit is that you're guilt racked over using a sticker but stamping is totally okay! I always feel like a cheater with single image stamping! That aside I think this is gorgeous! Deffo hardcore metal! Great job honey!
