MoYou London Rainbow Contest - Blue

Hiya lovelies!  So, as I mentioned yesterday, MoYou London are having a rainbow contest on Instagram this week, and I've decided to take part in a few of the prompts.  I did a mani for green day yesterday, but since I already had something to post, I'll be showing you that once the contest's finished.  Today however, is blue day, and this is what I came up with..........

 Hiya lovelies!  It's time for another instalment of the A-Z of Polish, and this week we're up to S.  I picked out two polishes for this week, Dark Metal Lacquer - Sound Asleep, and Zoya Storm.........

Hiya lovelies!  Today I have my mani for this weeks Theme Buffet, and the prompt is one I've been looking forward to since I saw the list - inspired by music.  Now you guys know I don't need an excuse to do a metal inspired mani, and this is an idea I've had in my head for ages.........

Guest Post: Charlie from Pocket Money Polishes

Hiya lovelies!  As you know, my posting has been mighty sporadic of late, and I haven't really been getting many mani's done behind the scenes either.  So, naturally, a few days ago I managed to lose the photographs for 3 mani's in a spat with my memory card!  Yep.  It's just been that sort of week.  Luckily for me though, when I cried to my wonderful friend Charlie about my lost mani's, she kindly offered to whip up a guest post for me.  Isn't she fab?  So, without further ado, I will hand over to her...........

Colour me Crazy - Purple

Hiya lovelies!  I hope you're all having a nice weekend.  Today I'm just about squeezing in my mani for purple week of the Colour me Crazy challenge.  I decided to go with purple roses on a pastel background, and whilst I was originally planning to do a lot more roses, I ended up loving the background gradient so much that I couldn't bear to cover too much of it up.  I did use 4 different purple polishes for the roses though, so hopefully that's enough to still call it a purple mani :p

R is for Raspberry Rush & Red Black

 Hi guys!  It's Thursday (already!), which means it's time for another letter in the A-Z of Polish.  This week we're up to R, and today I've picked two polishes - Color Club - Raspberry Rush, and Barry M - Red Black.......

Hiya lovelies!  So, since I've been mostly absent for the last few weeks, I've fallen a bit behind on challenges I was participating in.  I'm not going to try and catch up on the prompts I've missed, but I am jumping back in as and when I can, starting with the British Nail Bloggers Colour me Crazy challenge.  This week we're on pink, and I did a pink and silver mosaic design......

A-Z of Polish: Q is for.....Quirk!

 Hiya lovelies!  Sorry I didn't get this post up yesterday.  I took another little trip to Ikea yesterday afternoon, and spent the rest of the evening putting together my workstation with my other half.  On the plus side, I bought my workstation! :D I'm not showing you guys just yet though, I still have some bits and pieces I want to get, and I still have a few little bits of furniture that need to be shifted around a bit.  I will be doing a blog post about it when the whole corner's finished though :D

Birthday Nails :D

Hiya lovelies!  I'm still struggling to find time to blog at the moment, but today is my 25th birthday, so I'm actually taking a day off work and have a mani to show you.  Hooray! I'm afraid my posts will continue to be a little sporadic for the next few weeks too, as I'm actually planning a nail corner for my room.  At the moment, I paint my nails on the sofa with a tiny table in front of me, so I'm really excited about having a proper space to work in.  Expect a blog post on that once it's finished :D

A-Z of Polish: P is for........Party Pink

 Hi guys!  Just a quickie from me today, as I'm currently in the process of putting a helmer together.  Yep, I finally caved in and went to Ikea on Tuesday. :D Flat pack furniture aside, it is still Thursday today, which means it's time for another letter of the A-Z of Polish.  Today's letter is P, and I chose Moyra Vivid Sand 711 - Party Pink.  It's a deep neon pink texture, with larger pieces of silver glitter....

July in mani's......

Hiya lovelies!  Sorry I've been absent for a few days, I've been feeling kind of swamped this last week, so wasn't able to find the time to put anything decent together. Today, I just have a quick round up of the nail art I did during July.  I've put this together as a clickable image map, so you should be able to click on any of the mani's, and be taken to the original blog post.....

I didn't do a whole load of mani's last month, but I'm very happy with the mani's I did do.  I pushed myself to do more decals and freehand than I normally do, and I think it's starting to pay off.  Hooray!  My favourites are the textured tape mani, the pink and orange roses, the star decals and the piunk/purple duochrome roses.

So, I'm still learning when it comes to image maps, and at the moment, I need to publish the image before I can finish putting the code together.  Hopefully I'll find a better way soon, but for now, I will just add a little edit to the bottom of the post when I've got it finished :D

*So, I can't seem to get it working today :(  So, if you want to see the blog posts you'll have to look through this month in the archives.  Sorry lovelies, hopefully I can get it sorted for next months collage......

FingerFood's Theme Buffet - Rainbow (with tutorial)

Hiya lovelies!  As promised, I'm back today with my Theme Buffet mani for this week.  The prompt is rainbow, so I did some simple rainbow stripes.  I've put together a tutorial for this design as well - it's not particularly complex or anything, but I figured it would be good practise for me to do one anyway.............
