31DC - Day 15 - Green Base

Hello again you lovely lot!  As promised, I'm back today with my mani for today's 31 day challenge prompt.  That prompt is "Green Base", and I decided to do some more stamping decals with the foil glue method......

I started out with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Jade Jump, a gorgeous soft jade green cream polish.  Then I made my decals with Sinful Colors - Snow me White, and Orly - Luxe.  The funky squares image is from MoYou Pro XL 03, and this is actually the first time I've used it.  Score one for varying my stamping images more! :)
I had a little bit of an issue with smooshing again, on the pinky finger today, but I'm pleased with how the others turned out.  This mani has a retro vibe that is way out of my comfort zone, but I actually quite liked it anyway.  I find this colour combination very soothing, and the roundness of the squares gives the pattern a much softer feel.

I'd love to know what you guys think of this though.  I always find that the mani's that are out of my comfort zone are the ones where I have no idea if they're actually any good. XD

That's it from me for this post, but I will be back with a second post a little bit later on with this weeks A2Z.  I only did my mani last night, but I'm actually pretty pleased with it.  I even painted a freehand thing - no stamping or vinyl's.  Yeah, go me!

While you wait though, you may want to spend a few minutes nosing around the thumbnails below, checking out all the other sexy, green based, tiny little masterpieces.

    1. You just colour in the image on your stamper, but don't apply any top coat to it, just leave it as is. Then apply some foil glue to your nail, and once it's dry (when it turns clear), you just stamp that coloured in image like a normal stamp.
Foil glue dries very tacky, so all the stamping sticks to it whether the stamping has dried or not. Makes it a lot easier to do your decals, and clean up is easier too. Plus, no bubbles or creases. And if you apply the foil glue before you start colouring in your stamp, I find the glue is dry and ready as soon as I've finished filling it in so no waiting around needed :D xxx
