The Neverending Pile Challenge - Texture

Hi guys, and welcome to another day of the neverending pile challenge.  The prompt for today is texture, and you guys know I love me some texture, so you'd think I'd be all over this with some awesome nail art, but alas - no!  Over the last couple of weeks, me and the Mr have been working a lot of extra hours, and it's taking it's toll on me at the moment.  I don't want to push myself into the dreaded "blogger burnout", so I'm taking it easy with a B-E-A-U-tiful swatch instead.  Wednesdays post is a bit of a mammoth too, so I hope you can forgive the distinct lack of nail art around here this week :)

So, my texture for today is the swoon-worthy Pink Power, from Moyra's Vivid Sands collection, available for £3 here.  This is the half of the vivid sands without the silver glitter, which I originally thought were creme textures. They're not though, they're actually a frosty texture, with lots of super fine shimmer.  Very similar to the Rimmel Sweetie Crush collection, except they're neon, and more pigmented. I loved that collection, so this is a big win in my books.

These swatches are 2 coats, no top coat, and no undies! The formula was great on this - it's a little thick, so don't try and do your coats too thin, but it spread easily, didn't flood the cuticle, and was really opaque at 2 coats.  I also found dry time to be quick, as you would expect with a neon.

  I really like this polish, and as far as I am aware, it's completely unique to the UK market.  I assure you, if I had seen this done by any brand before I would own it!  The only negative point I can think of is that this has confirmed that I really do need to buy the entire collection :)
