I have to admit, I really like this mani. I have always hated dark green, and until a few weeks ago I didn't even own a dark green polish. However, I was browsing ebay, and ended up picking up a little bundle of Rimmel's, 2 of which were this green colour. It's Rimmel 60 Seconds - Camouflage. I was going to just give them away or something, but when I saw it in person, I noticed that it's laden with gold shimmer, and the more I saw it, the more I liked it.
I really wanted to wear it, but had no idea what to do with it, so in the end I played it safe and looked through my stamping plates to see what would look good stamped in gold. In the end I settled for this hounds tooth design from Cheeky plate CH13 from the Cheeky vibrant collection. Once it was all done, and cleaned up around the edges, I fell in love. I don't know why, it's totally irrational, but I really liked it, and I didn't want to take it off!
When I was cleaning up my cuticles, it occurred to me that I think I may have seen this mani somewhere else, but I have no idea where. If anyone has seen this mani floating around, please let me know where, as I would like to credit the person if I was actually inspired by them!
I will be back on Wednesday with some freehand nail art I did over the weekend, that I absolutely loved. I realised I have been doing waaay too much stamping recently, so I wanted a change, and it really paid off. (I think so anyway, we shall see on Wednesday)
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend, and Monday wasn't too hard on you!
